Fat Athlete was founded in 2005 on the premise that there were not enough arm-chair quarterbacks in the world. Once thought of as an outlet for fantasy sports, Fat Athlete has blossomed into much more: a supporter of home-grown athletes of all ages across all sports, a community that shares tips on how to take the “fat” out of Fat Athlete, and a brand that allows everyone to interpret the name the way they want. At the end of the day, just saying or reading the words Fat Athlete creates a reaction….good or bad, it gets you thinking!
